Today's attempt to MAGA the top brass today has me in tears. I would like to know if

The brass stood when the president came to the podium or when he left. Was there any military respect shown? I understand the not applause issue as it has been discussed here..I’m wondering just how far the military will go to make war on our inner cities and allow us all to be prisoners

if Mr. trump tries to use them in a way they see as violating their duty to the Constitution. I think their loyalty to the nation outweighs any personal or self-serving interests. That's how I read the tea-leaves.

It's normal protocol in the military for those attending to stand at attention when a superior officer enters or leaves the room. The same protocol extends to the president, regardless of who the president is.

In answer to your question, Yes, the generals were standing as traitor trump entered the room. They also stood upon the entrance of the Chairman, Joint Chiefs as well as Hogsbreath.

I think I'll link the entire meeting into an OP, and will cross-link this response to that for anyone interested.
