Where's the Astronomy Picture of the Day?

A new APOD is posted every night at 11 p.m. Central time on the APOD site, and yet, there hasn't been one posted there since October 1. I don't know how much of that is federally funded, and there's also the government shutdown. Has it been hit by budget cuts or the shutdown? I check the APOD site every night and will miss it if it's gone.

1. It's NASA, all of which is federally funded. APOD is gone until the funding resumes as it isn't "essential".
