While we all love her and are proud of her journey, I think that being FLOTUS would be physically hard on her. While I'm sure that Mark Kelly would be a fine President, I think that his first consideration is her and her health.

Gabby is strong but she knows her limits. And think what it would mean to the millions of disabled Americans!

And I’m sure if by some wild turn of events this does happen, Gabby has many aides to help her do as much or as little as as she would want to do.

We certainly can’t have a First Lady who does any less than the one we have now.

If Gabby did nothing in her role as First Lady, she would still restore grace, kindness, and dignity to the role. But as others have said here, all that matters is what's best for the Kellys. God knows, they've already given more than enough to their country!

At a program at Youngstown State University. He was running for the Senate back then (or considering it, I don’t exactly remember). The auditorium was packed and he was so interesting and well spoken. He talked mostly about being an astronaut. At the end of the speech, he brought out Gabby and she got a standing ovation! She said just a few words but you could see how appreciative and happy she was to hear the crowd cheering for her. I will never forget it.

No big deal about my post. We can’t all be on here 24/7!

on the Space Station. Mark and Scott are both national treasures. Name of the DVD is A Year in Space and was produced by PBS. Highly recommend!

When I heard his interview on Maddow's show last Monday, my reaction was immediate. He shows the real personal strength that Diddling Donny only wishes he had.

This was before she was shot, of course. We had rung in the New Year together just 8 days before, with a vague “dinner in DC” promise for 3 weeks out. It took another eleven years before we were able to have dinner again.

If you remember how people reacted after meeting then-Senator Obama in person before he ran, thinking, “he could be the one!” That’s how many people reacted about Gabby before she was shot.

However much Mark may be thinking about this—and I think much of it is media hype—he would NEVER get involved in a presidential run without Gabby’s wholesale and enthusiastic support. If she wants it, there’s a chance if not, we can all file this under ”might have been.” Mark will absolutely not even consider running without Gabby’s full support behind the move.
