I got the impression that she was never interested in politics, even though she was an extraordinary first lady. I can't see her ever running for office.

that of Michelle Obama. Surely there are plenty of "capable, honorable people" in the world to run for office, though they may not have the same name recognition.

Besides that, she has repeated over and over again that she does not want to run for public office. Not everyone is cut out for it.
