on notnews/max they are claiming it was the "left" targeting the young woman from Alabama, who was murdered. She was an active college Republican. They are pointing to blame and a motive with no evidence.

They did the same thing in the Kirk shooting, and they were wrong. It was a right winger who didn't think Kirk was rightwing enough.

7. Unless he's just a generic nut-bag, I'll bet he has a connection to the University. Why else

would he have made tracks to the engineering building rather than some more crowded area? Could be a former student or a candidate who wasn't admitted to some program or to the faculty.

His gait is aggressive, somewhat flay-footed, and he seems in some of the videos to be waiting for some reason. He pauses with hands clasped behind his back and keeps looking back over a shoulder at other times. Seems as if he may be watching for a specific person.

The fact that he chose final exam time could also suggest he might've been targeting one or more specific individuals that he knew would be there at that time.
