Susie Wiles forgot the 1st rule for a Chief of Staff.

Don’t become the story. True for any POTUS, but particularly true for Trump, as he wants to be the story.

And the story got out ahead of her plan.
Maybe nullifying a bonus or other benefit/perk.

They don't operate under normal rules. They're gonna just deny it's an issue and plow forward. They're dysfunctional, yes, but they don't care. The entire administration has the personality that Wiles described if you ask me. And yes, can you imagine if Joe Biden's Chief of Staff blabbed to a magazine that he had the personality of an alcoholic? Do you think they'd get away with rallying around the person and saying nothing to see here? But our sanewashing press corps will allow it.

9. Well, I liked her father. He was a decent kicker and a great play-by-play guy, even if he was an alcoholic.
