Boycott and shun the U.S. until Trump and his criminal cabal are removed from office, charged, prosecuted, and
imprisoned.

If you are thinking about visiting the U.S. you should know you will not be safe !!!!!!

The U.S. no longer operates under the rule of law !!!!!!!!

https://www.insideworldfootball.com/2025/07/09/sketch-fifa-celebrates-iconic-trump-tower-office-opening-iconic-cwc-trophy-display/

July 8 – They say that criminals always return to the scene of the crime. In 2015 the US Department of Homeland Security blew the administration of world football off its feet with the FIFAgate scandal and indictment of more than 40 FIFA federation officials.

The first of the whistleblowers to be taken into custody was former Concacaf general secretary Chuck Blazer, famously arrested on his mobility scooter outside the Trump Tower where Concacaf had its corporate offices. Blazer also had an apartment in Trump Tower that he lived in with his parrot, as well as a separate apartment for his cats – it’s that kind of eclectic building.

FIFA and football have history with this building and close to the 10-year anniversary of those seismic arrests why not celebrate with a permanent return to the place where so many of the dirty deals and pretty much all the indicted felons were seen to frequent.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino referred to Trump Tower as an “iconic building” during the opening.FIFA also referred to its shiny new trophy which will now be on display in the office building’s lobby, as iconic. (ed: Gianni has his name engraved on it. See How to become a winner, engrave your name on the trophy).

Reports now show about 16,800 fans have canceled their World Cup tickets worldwide and that number is still climbing fast. This isn’t about bad flights or hotel prices. This is people saying they are walking away from the tournament entirely because they do not feel safe going to the United States given the current climate created by ICE tactics under the Trump administration and aggressive immigration enforcement that many see as a real threat to visitors.

Reports from whom?

And good mornimg.

A Brazilian fact checker, Boatos.org, says that the story is false, but I'm not familiar with them, so I'm not claiming them as a credible source, either.

And, good morning to you.

And resellers require buyers -- each of which get slapped by a tidy little 15% fee by FIFA. That doesn't sound like a very enticing article though.

Which brings me back to the only source being an article that won't load from a random Jordanian website no one's ever heard of.

Can you imagine when some “shithole” country beats the USMNT 3-0 with Trump in attendence? Reminiscent of the 1936 Olympics. Not sure I’d travel here from abroad right now. I’d expect a fair number of our visitors to demonstrate their displeasure.

I love going to soccer games here in Houston, and I know from experience it's largely a latino crowd. Why in the world would fans risk the gestapo just to see a soccer match? Trump has been very clear with his actions that he's gunning for them.

The World Cup needs to be cancelled or moved. “Visiting the United States simply isn’t safe.”

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup set to be hosted in the United States this summer, calls have grown for a global boycott and ticket cancellations in protest of the Trump administration and its increasingly aggressive deployment of federal immigration agents.

“I had to cancel my World Cup plans,” wrote Ramy Abdu, a Palestinian academic and assistant professor of law and finance, in a social media post on X Friday. “Visiting the United States simply isn’t safe.”.....

However, in the wake of the killing of 37-year-old Renee Good – the Minnesota woman who was fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent on Wednesday – and Trump’s subsequent deployment of over 100 more agents to the state, critics have increased calls for sports fans worldwide to boycott the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

“Would you have gone to watch the Olympics in Nazi Germany in 1936?” asked Pekka Kallioniemi, a Finnish social media analyst with a focus on propaganda and disinformation, in a social media post on X Friday. “If the answer is no, it’s time to cancel your US World Cup tickets.”
