DOJ is opening an investigation of the Federal Reserve Chairman over whether or not he lied to Congress about the cost of a building project
But, the DOJ Civil Rights Division has been prevented from opening an investigation of an ICE agent who shot and unarmed protester in the face.

The layers of dishonesty and secrecy on this project we haven't even begun to fathom. But yeah, lets go after people for getting the price wrong on a government building that had all the approvals, and mortgage fraud for anyone (Democratic) who has to navigate homes in their state and in DC.

(40,258 posts)The Federal Reserve Board does not in anyway answer to or be subservient to the POTUS. The Constitution strictly prohibits any effort by the Executive Branch from having authority over the Fed.
That includes lawsuits and nasty-ass midnight Xwitter posts by the president.
Chairman Powell was turning a deaf ear towards Chump, but now he's had it.
