I do believe I've figured it out: it's not the Peace Prize

that he’s aiming for, it’s the Nobel Prize in Physics.

You see, for many years, physicists have postulated the existence of an infinite number of parallel Universes, each different from the next in whole or in part. This is not out of the realm of possibility and it is more probable than not and a corollary of all of this is that any molecular action, no matter how improbable, has a finite possibility of existence.

Yes, I know, you want an example: ok, you’re running late for an appointment and park your car accordingly. When you return from the appointment a police officer is writing a ticket and calling a tow truck because YOUR CAR IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SIDEWALK. You say, “No officer, I parked it in that spot now taken by that other car but there exists a finite probability that my car’s molecules all moved simultaneously to the sidewalk, so I am not responsible for the laws of physics exercising their possible outcomes. This is like Schrödinger’s cat writ large.”

So Trump is demonstrating that falsity equals truth and no matter how absurd something sounds or looks, he is simply demonstrating that since there is in fact a finite possibility that it is truth and thus real.

This is very advanced quantum physics and since his relative was ostensibly the longest-serving professor at MIT, well the genetic component says it all. Res ipse loquitur and QED. He thus deserves the Nobel Prize in Physics and should take his place among such luminaries as Einstein, Gell-Mann, and Feynman. In fact many people are saying that Trump is the greatest scientist since Newton and maybe even greater. Professors from all over the world come up to him with a tear in their eye and say to him, “Sir, we could not have begun to conceive of the profundity of your theories. May God bless you and keep you.”

And there you have it.
