Actor Timothy Busfield still at large after warrant issued for his arrest over alleged child sex abuse...

This story first broke several days ago. I was under the impression Busfield had been arrested. Apparently, that is not the case.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/timothy-busfield-location-remains-unknown-025618653.html

* The U.S. Marshals Service has stepped in to help locate Timothy Busfield after a warrant was issued for his arrest over alleged child sex abuse crimes

* The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) confirmed to PEOPLE that they are working with the U.S. Marshals Service to locate and arrest Busfield

* The arrest warrant alleges Busfield, who is married to Melissa Gilbert, engaged in unlawful sexual conduct with 11-year-old twin boys

In the warrant from the APD, obtained by PEOPLE, Officer Marvin Brown alleged that two boys, 11-year-old twins whose identities were withheld from the public, were the subject of sex crimes by Busfield. One of the minors alleged that the incidents began when he was 7 years old, per the arrest warrant.

Most of you will have seen some movie or TV show Busfield has been a part of over his 45 year career in acting...Field of Dreams, Thirtysomething, The West Wing to name just a few.

I NEVER LIKED HIM. I first saw him on thirtysomething and although all of those characters were insipid in their own ways, and caricatures of real humans, he gave me the creeps somehow. My then-girlfriend had the hots for him and for the lead character, and I told her that that’s why some women get themselves into trouble and ignore normal guys (and yes, men do equally horrendous things) and then wonder what all went wrong.

My husband and I were talking about the West Wing last week (precipitated by a visit from one of my summer interns whose last name is Cregg) and i told him I couldn't stand the actor who played Danny, in anything he performed in. Just gave me a bad feeling. Guess I was right (even though I know and accusation is just that.)
But going missing isn't a good look

Learn to discern between imagination and reality with the gut feeling. It takes practice. Personally, I believe this type of intuition is a gift from God for women.

I went with a friend to his house for lunch one day. We were both about 20 years old. His father showed up for lunch as well and we met for the first time. I greeted him with a handshake and smile, and then I got the creepiest feeling, like he was seeing me naked. Maybe he looked at me a tenth of a second too long. Or he didn't release the handshake soon enough. Anyway, I avoided being alone with him. Thirty-five years later I heard gross stories about him making passes at his wife's married friends. And another story that he molested his toddler grandchild while they were in the pool. I believe he died in prison, transferred to another state, after another molestation felony.

Busfield never made an impression on me, except to say I never sought him out in other shows and movies. I simply felt nothing for him. Zero attraction, which for that time in my life, was unusual.

Didn't make much of an impression. Mostly played side characters. He needs to turn himself in. He's only making it worse.

Melissa Gilbert (Little House on the Prairie). Admittedly, I tended to ignore him as I was not a fan.

I would love to believe he is innocent of these charges (mainly for Gilbert's sake) but... Damn.

Little Big League, and of course, Field of Dreams.

If the allegations are true, that's definitely upsetting.

I'm withholding judgment on this one until I learn more of the facts. I saw a story about a week ago and the explanation of the alleged incidents just didn't add up to me. I felt it might be a case of someone trying to get a payout.

By no means do I minimize these charges. If they are true, then to hell with the asshole. But I still believe in innocent until proven guilty. So, I'm anxious to see how the story unfolds.
