From what I read, the breach was a deliberate response to the illegal execution.. niyad 1 hr ago #2

It's deserved payback for breaching the personal data of American citizens and immigrants across the country.

It's about time DHS and ICE squirmed for what they're doing--despicable cruelty and abuse in plain sight.

that was a rawstory (I know!) link, and I read it in a dailybeast post. I, too, hope it is real.

The worst anyone on "our side" might do with the info is send pizzas and nasty emails and texts, that sort of thing.

If/when the animals among them are actually brought to justice (perhaps doing so will involve info from this data breach), I'll definitely pop corks with you then

rather than to a deeply flawed man.

One of Himmler's most infamous assertions was that the police were of an order whose members must be able to “see things, do things, and never speak of them” as he argued repeatedly that true loyalty requires silence and consent, and love of country requires imprisonment without trial resting on three claims: the nation was in a state of internal danger, legal procedures were too slow or weak, his own will replaced legal accountability.

Sounds damned familiar to me in the here and now.
