Talked to someone today who said she's sitting out the primaries and election

and voted independent during the last presidential election. Then she mentioned the Jesse Jackson observances as a nod to his legacy. I said that he and so many others fought for voting rights and that even seeing that votes were recently stolen from Georgians tells you that voting means something. I could’ve been talking to a wall.

I’m tired of listening to stupidity.

3. Trying to talk to stupidity

is worse than trying to listen to it. Especially now.
Thinking of somebody being indifferent to voting now
stirs my rage a lot more than my desire to persuade.
