You will be rewarded for assisting me when you present this number and my name to American authorities."


While my dad was in the US Navy and flew on surveillance missions in the late 70s and early 80s near what was then still the USSR, their translator had t-shirts made for them to wear under their flight suits that read, in Russian, "Don't shoot! I know valuable military secrets!" It was a joke, but my dad wore it because he thought it was hilarious.
