but remember that he is one of the GQP who in 2024 shot down the bipartisan immigration reform package that had been negotiated over several years. It's not just that he voted against it. He had been a very vocal supporter of it until Crumb the 1st made a pronouncement against it and said Senators should oppose it.

Tillis is being disingenuous in railing on about immigration under Joe Biden when he had a chance to make things better but chose politics instead. Tillis has a history of being all over the map depending on political pressure and self interest.

Yes the enemy of my enemy is a friend but I don't forget what kind of person that "friend" is and how willing they are to sell me out.
