First petrol queue for decades

I remember the drama of the 70s, today there was a smallish queue at the local servo. Standard petrol 2.39 per litre. That works out about $9 US gallon.

It's looking a bit grim here - Australia has a limited store - roughly 35 days of normal use. Hope tsf drops off the twig sooner rather than later.

(And slightly mysterious) way of saying the unspeakable when you shouldn't.

…in the classic Monty Python “Pet Shop” sketch:

’E's not pinin'! 'E's passed on! This parrot is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker!

'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'im to the perch 'e'd be pushing up the daisies!
'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig!
'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!!

THIS IS AN EX-PARROT!!
