So, while Democrats in Colorado are still reeling from Gov. Polis cutting short Tina Peters' prison sentence, this story just popped up in the Fort Collins Coloradoan:
Weld County Republicans chairman arrested in sex sting operation
May 15, 2026, 5:26 p.m. MT
The chairman for the Weld County Republicans was one of two men arrested May 14 on suspicion of attempting to buy sex from Larimer County Sheriff’s Office investigators posing as minors.

Interestingly, the reporting paper is in Larimer County; the main newspaper in Weld County, The Greeley Tribune", hasn't mentioned the story.
