The fact that we have a governments sole purpose is to strip everyone of the rights and privileges of being an American, is not normal. Trump and his minions have no respect for the constitution, the law nor any other principle of the government. But this isnt all from Trump!
It started in 1980, or yet further back! Since the Kennedy Administration, Republicans have chewed away at the notion of a fair and free country. In the span of 6 decades, they are closing in on their agenda. This is a pace where Trump fits right into their plan.
The Republican leadership knows better, but sadly they dont care and watch Trump burn everything down! Not only for the power, but to enrich himself and others by stealing our hard earned money. Leaving us with very little or nothing to survive on! This administration is full of his yes minions too.
The normalcy is far more serious than before! Because there is no evidence of any normalcy whatsoever. That alone is the most damaging part of this government!
When it returns to a normal level is anyones guess? But, for now, more damage is going to be inflicted and they wont care. They are living their dreams of a one party system of government. Their way or no way at all!
Thus, some of the wall is cracked and holes are starting to appear. But we cant stop! The cracks and holes must not be the end! The wall needs to be obliterated and crushed!

(8,153 posts)Lack of proper Iran/Contra punishment, W/Cheney lying us into war, Rove getting away with ignoring a Congressional subpoena, and letting Trump go unpunished for January 6th/ stealing documents and grifting money all helped get us here.
If the Democrats ever have power again and continue this mentality, we will not survive.
