EDIT: The storm hit and my PC died (ActBlue is a skeleton report for this morning etc.)

EDIT! I now have access to may main email account, but not gmail.

We had a bad storm last night. The lights flashed and my PC died. We have an all house surge protector. So we aren't sure what happened yet. So far the only thing hurt was my PC.

I have no email, so no FULL ActBlue morning reports for a few days. For now I have limited access to my donor pages.

This is the SECOND time in 6 years this has happened.

Possibly (???):

A solar array along with it's attendant battery might give you sufficient stability to weather most storms (in the future). Presently have this arrangement, and have nearly four hours of stand-by power during brown-outs and even during full electrical power loss situations.
