Some close advisers to President Trump fear the biggest substantive result of the China summit is heightened danger that Chinese President Xi Jinping will invade Taiwan in the next five years, potentially choking off the chips used to power AI to U.S. companies, Axios reports.
Applegrove: did Trump have one arm tied behind his back because he wanted business deals with China?

(7,066 posts)as Mr. trump gives away the store and lines his pockets. I just can't imagine the stubborn idiocy it requires to continue to support that little gremlin's degeneracy. That little shit wants to burn it all down for his own profit.

(12,597 posts)Before the frigging visit to China?? They now 'fear' an attack on Taiwan when everyone with a half-brain expected Taiwan's future would come up, when during the 'negotiations' Trump obviously sold them down the river, and then said a war over tiny Taiwan, 9500 miles away, wasn't on anyone's menu.
Other than China's, that is. Trump left that part out.
Trump's advisors are irrelevant because Agent Orange listens to No One beyond his self-declared gut.
Which is always wrong and benefits our enemies.
If these unnamed advisors want to do something useful, they should declare Trump unfit for office.
