Could Cassidy LA and Massie KY run as independents or write in candidates?

I would get back at Trump by helping the Democrat win.

Might have to go to court, though, as at least one of those states have "sore loser" laws. I'm pretty sure those laws are unconstitutional, at least for federal office, but it hasn't been adjudicated yet as far as I'm aware.
