Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsA dead to me now list. "Celebrities" who are scheduled to attend the U.F.C. fight @ the White House.
Edit this list of celebrities might not be correct. Gee I guess everything on the internet might
not be true.
Please boycott anything to do with these tone deaf assholes.
Adam Sandler
Tom Brady
Jared Leto
Jason Something
The Rock Johnson
Mario Lopez
I hope any of their sponsors or who employ them take a look @ their bottom line and cut
all ties with them. This fight is an example of the Trump tumor going malignant and Trump
and Stephen Miller are seeing just how much shit they can get away with.
Btw people have been killed in these blood shows. What is next pit bull fights?
I have heard the figure of 60 million $s will be the cost for this nonsense. Btw 2.0 Trump is
closing the USDAs Beltsville, MD research station and library Putin is getting his moneys worth
from Trump because he is burning America to the ground.

(77,980 posts)All of them are successful, rich, and working they do not need to be there. And I was going to have
Tom Brady and his family for the 4th for hot dogs 🌭, potato chips, and drinks but that is now a
no go.
ITAL
(1,400 posts)For the most part they were pretty successful in their time. I mean Tom Brady is generally considered the greatest NFL quarterback ever.
Mario Lopez is probably the only never was. His fame mostly came from a 90s teen sitcom that was an ensemble show. For the last 15 years, give or take, he's just been the host of one of those Entertainment celebrity buzz type shows.

Of course, several on the list in your post are already known as Trump supporters. I don't know about Jared Leto, Jason Statham or The Rock. If they do support Trump, they've at least had the good sense to be quiet about it.
Trump has a long history of caring a great deal about big splashy press announcements and then not caring much at all about the event itself.

(44,594 posts)All I see is another DU link with a video to some random Youtube channel.
A couple of the names--Sandler, Brady--strike me as "Republican light" persons who have campaigned for some Republicans in the past or are thought to be Republican sympathetic, but have never outright embraced Trump or MAGA itself.
EarlG
(23,732 posts)changed the story from "have been invited" to "will be attending."
The main source I could find for this is this article in Time magazine, published two days ago:
https://time.com/article/2026/05/26/dana-white-ufc-white-house-fight-interview/
That article includes the line: (Dana) "White has invited Adam Sandler, Guy Ritchie, Tom Brady, Jared Leto, Jason Statham, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, and Mario Lopez."
The YouTuber in the video linked to in the OP changed that information to, "We now know that some big time celebrities will be in attendance," before reciting that list of invitees from the Time Magazine article.
If it has actually been confirmed that these celebrities will be in attendance, is there a source for that?

(6,105 posts)Whew he donated to Rudy's prez run.
A spokeswoman for Sandler told the Wall Street Journal the iconic comedy star doesn't like politics.
However, he's been registered with the Republican Party in the past and even performed at the Republican National Convention in 2004. He also donated $2,100 to former New York Mayor Rudy Giulianis 2008 presidential campaign

UFC deaths specifically are extremely rare. The Ultimate Fighting Championship, MMA's premier organization, has never had a fighter die as a direct result of injuries sustained during a sanctioned fight. This stark contrast in MMA deaths versus boxing fatalities highlights a crucial safety difference between the sports.
