Trump completely folded to Iran

After the strike in Beirut, Lebanon, Iran canceled negotiations and was preparing to attack Israel, However, POTUS Trump offered last-minute concessions including "the preservation of Lebanon's territorial integrity, Israel's withdrawal from the Lebanon border, and the immediate lifting of the [US naval] blockade" (which was allegedly supposed to happen in 30 days, not immediately), as well as conceding that "the legal system for navigation in the Persian Gulf would be arranged in cooperation between Iran and Oman."

I do it when none is provided, especially in the OP.

Then the OP adds it, usually saying.. "Sorry, they forgot it." And the world is right again.

He wasn't quoting anyone or re-posting anything. I read it as a recounting of what we all knew about for several weeks.

The Iranians just said, "Fine, we agree. Now get out." Nothing will change. If anything, Israel will probably strike within Lebanon again within the next few days, and Trump will find an excuse to say the ceasefire is still in force.

Iran is going to get far money under the trump plan than Iran got from President Obama
Ex-GOP lawmaker rips 'bozo' Trump for 'giving Iran 20 times the money Obama did'
https://www.rawstory.com/trump-iran-2677037429/

Former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger tore into President Donald Trump over his handling of the war with Iran on Saturday, accusing the president of buying his way out of the conflict and walking away with almost nothing for it.

"Trump lies constantly and he is desperate for the Iran war to be over," Kinzinger wrote in a post on X that accompanied a video. "So desperate that he's giving Iran 20 times the money Obama did, and getting nothing in return, except an open strait that Iran will charge a 'maintenance fee' to all ships. Well done, bozo."

In the video, recorded selfie-style from the driver's seat of his car, the ex-congressman argued that Trump's record of dishonesty has gutted Washington's credibility to the point that Americans now wait to hear Iran's version of events before believing their own government.

"It's because Donald Trump lies constantly, all the time," Kinzinger said. "The constant lies take away any version of credibility. And that is a terrible place for us to be in."

Then he ran the numbers as he sees them.

" Barack Obama gave Iran $1.5 billion and we lost our mind. And I think rightly so. We called that out," Kinzinger said. He claimed Trump "has already given Iran $3 billion," lifted sanctions on Iranian oil when the war started, and is now "set to give Iran an additional around $25 or $30 billion."

"Barack Obama, $1.5 billion. Donald Trump, 30-some billion," he said. "And we don't even have the nuke stuff."

Which part offends you? Their form of government, religion or language?
Or you just soaked up the anti-Iran propaganda that has made the rounds for decades?

Anyhow, that's your problem.

Iran now has more reason than ever to develop some long range nukes.

When they do, the US will suddenly have to be polite to Iran.

The 14 point deal looks infeasible on many specifics as well as total capitulation by the USA with no guarantees by Israel.

Because constantly threatening and bombing the shit out of them is only going to make them more determined (and not in and offensive posture but defensive). The way it's going we aren't going to know they have a nuke until after they already do, no matter how much we forcefully declare 'They can never have a nuke!'.

Iran has psychologists on hand to "advise and respond" to psychopathic tRump's ever changing demands. That's smart! You need to know who/what you are dealing with on a realistic level. They know he's crazy and dying. Team Iran is smarter than Team tRump.

During his second term, he called it a terrible deal and whoever negotiated it (I repeat, it was him) was stupid. He tore up that deal by unilaterally imposing tariffs on Canada and Mexico.

The Art of the Deal negotiator is an idiot. I guarantee his deal with Iran will be much worse than the 2015 agreement he tore up.

Doesn't mean it's reality. He's a fucked up psychopath and he's not in touch with reality.

I'll believe him when he's dead. It makes about as much sense.

31. Horrendous deal for the U.S. per the MOU released by MEHR
Sun Jun 14, 2026, 08:33 PM
Sunday

Now, it is likely that MEHR is exaggerating, but this is still a train wreck of an agreement for the U.S. A few highlights for me:

1) Trump sold the Iranian opposition down the river - See #2

2) Iran now controls the Strait of Hormuz - this is not as big deal as it sounds because Iran can only charge so much for access and this could become a 4 way street with Saudi Arabia, UAE and Oman also charging for access.

3) The U.S. will never be able to get an embargo on another country again just because we ask for it, or at least not one on Iran.

What a colossal screw up by the Administration.

Mehr releases what it says are details of the Iran-US MoU:
