(16,060 posts)He DOES NOT deserve to be among those Founding Fathers.
I want him to die in prison.

(60,108 posts)Still maybe he could die on July 3 so everyone can fully celebrate all day on the 4th .

(16,060 posts)Our joy mixed with their tears on the 250th anniversary might taste sweet for us, but increase their bitterness.
Who cares? I do, actually. What I want more than anything is for the worst (by far) POtuS in our nation's history to be seen as such by an overwhelming majority, even among Republicans.
One of our greatest presidents once said "A House divided against itself cannot stand," and there is much truth in that. Today, a People divided against themselves cannot stand together for our common interests -- family and friends bitterly estranged from each other, while the oligarchs and fascists exploit that disunity to their own advantage.
I want the orange fascist to live long enough, hopefully in prison, to experience the repudiation and rejection of his former supporters. Let him be ignored, no longer dominating the daily news cycle, exvept the day he dies.

(8,208 posts)but really older people will either fight death to stay alive on a holiday, having a momentary "life" moment, or they'll die right around the holiday. My grandma waiting until xmas was over. My mom was going to experience her birthday, no matter what. But what really got me was the "recovery" my dad made after he had arterial catherization. He looked and acted so good, I called work and said I'd be in the next day. Was on to be... by that next day, he was gone.

(4,879 posts)We'll get to celebrate and hot damn but it'll be an awesome weekend -- but we'll have to endure the ceaseless post-mortem beatification of the "transformative" Trump. A controversial figure, they shall all say, but a significant one... one worthy to die on America's holiday.
And then I and every other Democrat gags.
But yes, I'll take a holiday croaking - mythologizing and all.

For years to come, thered be some sort of memorial coverage if he croaked on July 4th. Let it be some other day and definitely NOT a holiday!

(91,480 posts)NO ONE can know the hour - or day. I just know it will be welcome news whenever it happens. To me itll mean he wont be able to hurt or cheat or deceive ANYBODY else, ever again.

(8,358 posts)Any day will do, 4th of July is as good a day as any.
Watching the cult that is the Trump_house_of_cards collapse soon afterwards will be a pleasure.

elected R enablers, like to see him keep it up.
