He has tried so hard to make the world recognize him as a world leader of major power and the world has to be proud of him!

He has a lot of things that he thinks he has accomplished but in hind sight he has failed.

The 250 Anniversary of our nation is upon us and I, myself, feel proud of that. Yet, I’m ashamed that Trump is leaving us behind. He is doing all this hoopla for his gratification.

It leaves me in a state of fear and anxiety of what is next. He has done so much damage and has embarrassed this country every way possible.

July 4th won’t be any different or make us any prouder of what we have accomplished in 250 years. Although, he will embarrass not embrace what the actual truth is. He will try to say that he alone is the reason we are the country we are. (His words, not mine, speculation)

I am still a proud American, Veteran and proud citizen, but until he is gone, I will hold my excitement until then.

1. Don't forget the last of the Supreme Court decisions.

Birthright citizenship - seems likely to remain, but that would mean Miller and Trump dreaming up new devilry.

Likely expansion of Trump's power to fire even legally protected civil servants who opposed his whims.

Further narrowing of civil rights of trans people, and those perceived to be trans.

I'm sure there are others.

8. I put out decorative flags

For every holiday and season, size of regular flag. My Fourth of July one is a dog dressed in red, white and blue holding an American flag and I have a welcome mat that's decorated with little American flags.

Both this year and last year I thought about whether to just keep my welcome summer with bright flowers out but I didn't. I love my country to and they don't own our flag. My neighbors even the republican ones all know I am a liberal democrat so it's not going to make them think I am on their side.

I think republicans need to know we love the country to just hate what THEY are doing to it!
