(23,499 posts)It's a long way before we get control of SCOTUS, and that won't start happening until we gain control of the other two branches, and that won't happen until at least January of 2029.

(10,880 posts)It's going to take generations to undo the mess that Trumps has made. I doubt any of us will see it in our lifetimes, even if Dems control across the board for the next 20 years.
It took the right fifty years of scheming, plotting, scamming and lying to get all the pieces in place to overturn Roe. It will take the left another fifty years to restore things. And I think that is an optimistic assessment because while Democratic policies remain wildly popular, people simply dont vote for the things they want.

2. Piece of shit ordering all red states and red congressional districts in blue states not to certify any election Democrats win.
3. No voting by mail in blue states unless they turnover voter rolls.
4. If all of a sudden 70 million people are voting in person that once voted by mail, can you imagine the chaos.
5. Musk continuing to interfere in more ways than most realize.
I know people like Marc Elias are preparing for this which is good.
I just wish people were talking about this stuff.
I have found that predicting the worst possible thing a human being can do with these MAGA Nazis is usually the best way to prepare because they usually do it.
