Lucky for us the court moves at the speed of a glacier, so they might not get to it very quickly, or they'll just invalidate a few amendments on the shadow docket.

Looks to me like he's against the 14th amendment version, but supports the federal statutes around it, which basically leaves a path for congress to remove birthright citizenship by making shitty laws.

8. It should have been 9-0, though I'd always assumed Alito and Thomas would dissent,

because they always do in cases of the people vs. Trump regardless of what the case is about, but Gorsuch was a bit of a surprise. Kavanaugh concurred in the judgment but dissented as to one of the reasons, so it was a 6-3 decision. I'll take it, though, and there will be more ketchup on the walls today.
