Filipkowski's take on Keane's prolonged absence from the House and "tranparency"

"Tom Kean was so transparent and honest with the American people about why he disappeared with no explanation for the past 4 months while collecting a taxpayer salary that he showed up, read a brief speech, then refused to answer questions both before and after reading his statement.

Why not take questions and work to reduce the stigma of seeking help for depression? That's what someone would do who is concerned not just about himself but about his constituents.

but when he finally reveals it, he could be transparent. I think that would help others who suffer from it. And as for cutting others' healthcare while enjoying his own taxpayer funded benefits, well, that's just a republican for you I guess.
