You can't afford any extras at the grocery store, you can only afford to fuel up your car to drive just to work and food shopping, you can't afford the fees for your child's extracurricular school activity in order to pay your increased utility bills, you can't afford your usual summer vacation, your adult children are living with you because they can't afford a house due to their student loans and your wages can't keep up with inflation.
But you figure it's all worth it because a trans student in another state a thousand miles away can't join the high school swimming team.

(3,254 posts)but it should be left up to the organization, state or school district. In the NCAA, there are 10 Trans athletes out of 500,000 participants.
This issue shouldn't make the top 40 in voting priorities, either way.

(383 posts)I remember a short interview with a guy from Oklahoma during the 2004 election cycle. He said the economy didn't matter because God and what comes after this life is all that counts. He supported Bush despite his struggles because he made us a godly nation.
