He took an oath to support the Constitution. His Executive Order regarding birthright citizenship directly subverted the Constitution. That is treason.
If he wanted to remove the 14th Amendment, he needs to draft and pass a 28th Amendment. By not following the Constitution he commits treason.
If nothing else, Presidents are bound to operate within the Constitution be they take a public oath.
Each time he/his administration redirects Congressional expenditures they are committing treasonous violations. Every DOGE reduction fits too.
The only question is: Do citizens have standing to bring charges against members of the administration?

(21,960 posts)Attorney Marc Elias comes to mind. We should all donate a few bucks to him. I'm sure it would help the cause of democracy a lot.
We should take a lesson from Europeans and be in the streets enmass every damn day. I say this as I sit on my sofa texting this response. We should all be doing more. At the very least vote in the mid-terms.

(5,112 posts)... is secondary to the swearing of an oath which he has repeatedly betrayed. If he'd sworn his Oath of Office on his bank statement, it would have had more credibility.

And if you stop and think about it would you want such power to be used against a Democratic administration?

(5,147 posts)At this point, we should have universal healthcare, housing, education, access to nutritious food, clean water, jobs and internet.
We should have infrastructure and transportation that is the envy of the world.
We should have full equal rights and social equity across the board.
But we cant have any of that because of this system we choose to live under.
And like it or not, Piss is the very epitome of that system. Hes the perfect representative of the ruling class.Theyre never going to oust him.

(1,418 posts)even then, the Constitution requires more. Nobody foresaw a Trump, foreign agent, Putin lackey.
2.) Re: "citizens' standing." The only Constitutional remedy to remove a President is Impeachment. Can we sue, say, Sec. Hegseth? Yes.
3.) You are preaching to the choir!
