The First Amendment is showing up on Saturday, through us.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

It may never have been at greater threat in this country.

I see words in the First Amendment that translate perfectly for protest signs.

"The right of the people peaceably to assemble"
per the First Amendment, 1791

"The right of the people to petition the Government for a redress of grievances"
per the First Amendment, 1791

Here are a few more ideas, I came up with.

The First Amendment sent me.

Freedom of Speech is guaranteed in the First Amendment.

There's a reason the First Amendment was first.

The Constitution sent me.

(I cross posted this from GD.)
