I got some communication issues, I guess. I'm 18

I have a hard time speaking the exact point on my mind whenever I'm confronted by people louder than me (in person). I often times find myself making points that are totally true and that I stand by, but then someone will ask me a question completely unrelated and this genuinely burns me out every time. I need tips on navigating situations like this, please. Any helps!

on topic. Your response is irrelevant. Repeat your point and ask if it needs clarity.

I'm still developing my journalistic integrity, so you have no idea how much a small comment like that helps me 😭 thank you for your time!

because you can't or will be exposed if you do.
Whataboutism is a key to MAGAts existence. They live on Earth II and leaving that bubble is difficult.
You will waste a lot of time convincing someone whose identity relies on living a falsehood.
You may have to be more subtle with some interviews, as face off insults close doors.

with you more on that but I’d like to hear your views on (return to topic).
Praise makes people feel good and saying the question is interesting lets them infer you think they are smart. It’s also a set up for another interview.
