President Trump is getting his fourth medical checkup since last year

Source: WTVJ-TV Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, FL/AP

President Donald Trump is scheduled to see doctors for a medical and dental checkup this month — his fourth publicized visit to medical experts since returning to office — in what the White House describes as an annual physical and regular preventive care.

Trump, who turns 80 next month and was the oldest person elected U.S. president, will see his doctors at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on May 26, the White House said in a brief statement Monday evening.

The president's health has been the subject of tremendous scrutiny, so much so that Trump said he regretted getting imaging on his heart and abdomen last year because it raised public questions about his health.

Trump — who has been frequently critical of former President Joe Biden for age-related health and fitness issues — has recently remarked how good he feels despite his years. Earlier Monday, Trump that he feels the same as he did 50 years ago. “I feel literally the same,” he said at an Oval Office event. “I don’t know why. It’s not because I eat the best foods.” Last week, he joked about his exercise regimen, saying that he works out “like about one minute a day, max.”

I’m 68, in good health for my age, and see my doctor at least four times a year for medication monitoring and other issues.

But for Trump, it’s the reason for his visits that could be concerning, given his visible symptoms.

Biden was old and didn't go to Walter Reed four times a year.

It was an AP wire service article, where the outlet selected one of AP's ever-changing headlines to use to do what they all did to tarnish Biden for 4 years, and apply that same age-shaming standard to 45.

and with a chronic illness I most certainly have more than one doctor visit a year. Primary, rheumatology, hematology once per year due to a past incident (a random blood clot attributed to birth control when younger), and then as needed with others. I would be surprised if he only had a visit or two a year.

He has some nerve criticizing Biden, though, given that he clearly has his own issues even if we aren't privy to the details.

Bat shit is claiming defamation of character. Apparently bat shit doesn't like being associated with president Trump.
Bat shit was quoted as saying, " This stinks, it's derogatory, and demeaning, and we're not going to lie there and take it anymore".

is being treated for a rather serious chronic issue of some type. I see a primary care physician 2x per year for standard medical checks, but I see a retina specialist much more often for ongoing eye injections for a serious, chronic eye disease.

Every 60 days they are seen by a licenced medical provider i.e. a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant. That’s six visits per year.

So we have Trump with four of these visits that we know of already. It’s barely May, the fourth month of the year.

Continuing at this pace, we are talking about 12 or more outside provider visits by a man who lives in a house with it’s own hospital and dental clinic staffed by some of the best medical professionals the country has to offer.

Okay then. I can’t say with certainty what it is, but one thing is pretty obvious. It’s not nothing. That’s for sure.
