Two shots to get the party started. Now a Hoopla. Brandy, Lillet Blanc, triple sec, lemon juice, and orange bitters. Yummy! Very citrusy.

1. Do you love us all more on Friday nights?

I tend to be easily persuadable after anything with vodka or brandy.

I have some bitters and a wee bit of tequila, triple sec, vodka, kahlua, amaretto in the house. And several flavors of unsweet sparkling soda. I don't have fresh juices.

3. Well, it's amazing what liquor can accomplish.

Not to mention, being a Lounger for twenty-five years. The DU-ers I didn’t like are all gone; leaving the ones I love.

2. Last week you were drinking tequila,

and I had read on a TV intermission factoid about a particular tequila brand that John Wayne preferred. I happened to see it again so I was able to write down the name. Have you ever heard of Sauza Conmemorativo Tequila? It came up in a browser search so it seems to still be available.

7. If you were forced to choose

between having a drink with John Wayne (back from the dead) or Clint Eastwood, which one would it be? You'd be allowed to chug it down and get the hell out of there, but who's sitting across from you?

8. Clint Eastwood.

He seems more libertarian than Marion Morrison’s frenzied, unhinged, right wing nutball views. He’s quieter, less blustery, and genuinely talented. Marion just played himself. He did it for so long they eventually gave him an Oscar for it, maybe hoping he would just go away.

I can’t imagine a situation in which Eastwood would have to be physically restrained from beating up a woman who said something he didn’t like.
