He says to the psychiatrist: Doc, I've been having weird dreams. Last night I dreamed that I was at work, and dozens of elephants burst into the main lobby and started rampaging through the building. They were talking elephants, and they were all yelling WHERE IS HE? WHERE IS HE? They were calling out my name and they kept yelling WHERE IS HE?
There were three women on each elephant, and they all had my mother's face. My father was running behind the elephants, and he was carrying one of those old fashioned telephones that you crank. My sisters were running beside my father, gleefully throwing glitter on him while singing "America the Beautiful".
All of a sudden, just as the elephants almost reached my cubicle, they disappeared! And then a white poodle appeared. He was standing on his hind legs and smoking a cigar. The poodle walked toward me on his hind legs, stood next to my computer, and said "Hey pal, how's it going? Are you working hard, or hardly working"?
Honey started dripping from the ceiling tiles. Gallons and gallons of honey. The honey started to completely cover the poodle. The poodle took his paw, dipped it into his honey covered fur, tasted the honey, and said "Hmmm....not bad!". Suddenly, I could see a bright fireball outside of my office window. It then formed a mushroom cloud.
I woke up screaming at 700AM. I was in a cold sweat. My heart was racing I went to the kitchen and had a piece of toast and a cup of hot tea, and then got dressed and came straight here to your office. I'm still shook up. What kind of dream was that? Am I going crazy?
The doctor thought for a moment, looked at the man and said "One slice of toast and a cup of tea? You call that a breakfast?"

(1,323 posts)If I had this dream I would probably also seek psychiatric help.
OTOH, I can think of a person I would love to send this dream to if I could.
