But my absolute favorite flowers to have in pots are begonias and New Guinea impatiens because they are so pretty and low-maintenance.

(72,523 posts)It isn't really silver. It's a very pale lavender. But it's beautiful. You don't see it around much, because it's very difficult to cultivate. That gives it rarity value, as well.

(23,763 posts)I would love a variety which would bloom all summer. There are reblooming iris but they do not do well here because our summers are too hot and too long.
I wish daffodils would last longer too.
