Clive Revill, actor, 94

I realize people have been posting steadily on the notables who have left us (and there have been many), but I have been meaning to mention others who deserve to be remembered at their departures from this life. So I revive this thread in time for Halloween, though not intentionally.

One such notable is the stage, screen, and television actor Clive Revill, who died in March. He may be known to you through Star Wars, The Legend of Hell House, or perhaps the original Broadway cast album of the musical Oliver! A member of my family saw him play Fagin in that show and said he was phenomenal.

His IMDB credits:

Obituary in The Guardian:

No one who saw Clive Revill, who has died aged 94, on stage or screen thought he was anything less than a superb actor. However, for one who enjoyed such a distinguished career, he was surprisingly little known to the general public. It was as though he operated under the radar. He was twice nominated for a Tony award on Broadway, worked three times in startlingly different productions with the great stage director Peter Brook, and twice with the film director Billy Wilder.
