Well I do like the fennel
. Its eye catching. Even though I dont like to eat it, your photo of it is very pretty!

(7,371 posts)I like them all Peggy- is all this produce grown in your local area? Everything looks so fresh and tempting.
I've used fennel a few times. It's good in stews and pasta dishes. It's what gives Italian sausage it's distinct flavor. It's good for you, I don't know why I don't use it more often.

(154,833 posts)It's all grown in California. The farms tend to be some miles away, and I don't remember the names of the towns. So it's not terribly local!
But it's fresh and grown without pesticides, which is important to me. The berries are out of this world!
I've never used fennel. Maybe I'll try it sometime.
