(38,046 posts)I think were in peak season right now here in NE Ohio. I was just noticing all the color today when I was out and about. I love to paint fall landscapes.

(6,445 posts)I plan to travel Thursday to a lake about 50 miles north where all the fall foliage is at peak color.
I hope you'll post one of your fall paintings. Please message me if you do; otherwise I might miss it.

(211 posts)And the trees are finally starting to show some good color. I wish I had the free time to go out to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, because it's absolutely beautiful this time of year.

(12,655 posts)For me, leaves turn from alive to dead.
Of course I'm not really color "blind," I just don't see red and green well, especially red. I can see that leaves are green. Usually, I see leaves turning brown before people start talking about the leaves turning.

(6,445 posts)be appealing about the photo if I were to remove the reds and greens. This has been cropped from the original.
