Am I The Only One That Thinks LaBrea Is a Ridiculous Program?

I watch it for comic relief. I find it actually pretty funny even though the characters face a new calamity every 3 minutes.

I'm curious as to what others think about this program.

I've seen a few promos and maybe 30 seconds of the show while passing through. Like much network programming, no thanks.

I like creature features, but LeBrea only had the occasional encounter. It was like a kooky soap opera with unappealing characters. So, I quit after just a few.

I watch a little science fiction, but the superhero genre and most, albeit not all, fantasy shows like LaBrea are definitely NOT my thing. Part of the problem, though (to me at least) is Network TV's really poor handling of these kinds of shows. It is at least possible that the same material in the hands of HBO or other higher-quality producers might be watchable. But, as I said, just the promos scream RIDICULOUS to me.

and thought it would be some good, escapist fun. But, after about the third episode I bailed. I don't know, it an I just never clicked, as it were. I'd forgotten all about it until I saw this thread.

LaBrea is now streaming on Netflix 📀

I didn't care for it either but maybe streaming it without all the interruptions it becomes more coherent.
