(128,140 posts)2. at least the smoke is not as thick tonight as it has been since wed. night.  still noticeable, but
        can mostly see the mountains. oh, how this state needs rain.

        So far, we've had the best year in many years as far as smoke goes, knock on my wooden head. We can get a vague whiff of it once in a while, but it hasn't obscured the mountains and it doesn't feel like Limbag is sitting on my chest.

        We went through this last Fall here where I live, in north central Washington state. We also lost our home to a wildfire in 1994.
We will keep you in our thoughts!
