Special election called in Lowndes County for voters to approve four homestead tax exemptions
LOWNDES COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) - A special election has been called in Lowndes County for residents to vote on homestead tax exemptions in May.
County voters will be asked to approve four different homestead tax exemptions.
All four deal with property tax relief and how homestead exemptions in the county will apply to county government and school district taxes.
The special election is scheduled for May 19.
