JB ramping up for a POTUS run. Between him and Newsom early on. I lean JB but GN has been coming on frankly.

4. I worked with him and for him early on.

You know he self-finances his campaigns. No one has to pay for so much as a button or yard sign.

I hope he does not run for President. We need him here. This state has been so screwed up by bad financial decisions and crooks. He has helped put us back on track. He hires the best people to work for him as well. The woman doctor who oversaw the pandemic was amazing. She was a black lady who was fluent in Spanish. When she finished reporting in English at a news conference, she then translated everything into Spanish. One day, things got to her. She turned her back and cried.

And, and I got to know him, I saw a large man who is overworked. He is not as healthy as you might think. He needs to slow down. When he gets tired, he is an angry bear. I want to keep him here. He is our angry bear. Maybe people here can make him rest when he needs it.

I never thought of that. I remember when he died. I was going in to work just an afternoon shift at the library. I was supposed to open. I heard it on the radio and just sat down. The library opened late that day. What a terrible loss, for the whole state, really.

in Chicago government. I had been around enough not to be surprised by racism or misogyny in my party. But Washington's treatment was often so bad. So was Obama's.
