Newcomer joins two incumbents on Park Hill School Board. See who won

Two incumbents and a nonprofit founder earned seats on the Park Hill School District Board of Education during Tuesday’s municipal election.

Alexia Norris and Janice Bolin, the race’s two incumbents, along with Deanna Muñoz, a lifelong Northland resident, gained voter approval for the three open, at-large seats overseeing the school district, according to unofficial results reported by the Platte County Board of Elections Tuesday night.

Brandon Kleinmeyer, a tax professional, also ran for election, but only received 18% of the 12,114 votes counted with 19 of 20 precincts reporting. Bolin earned 26%, Norris 29% and Muñoz 25%.

Norris was appointed to the nonpartisan school board last year. Bolin has been a member of the board for 17 years.
