NY-COMP: Attorney Raj Goyle (D) discusses run for state comptroller

State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli has been the state’s top fiscal watchdog since 2007, but is up for reelection and facing at least two Democratic challengers so far ahead of the June primary.

The state comptroller’s office protects taxpayer funds by looking into waste, fraud and abuse. They also manage the state pension fund and retirement system, provide independent oversight on state finances, review contracts and return millions in unclaimed funds.

Raj Goyle, an entrepreneur and attorney, joined “Inside City Hall” to discuss why he’s seeking elected office.
