Snohomish County Council pass two awareness resolutions

EVERETT — The Snohomish County Council recognized October as a month of awareness on the topics of domestic violence and disability employment with two resolutions on Wednesday.

Emma Titterness, with Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County, spoke to the council before the passing of a resolution recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

“Our team is dedicated, trauma-informed and deeply connected to the community,” she said. “But everyone benefits deeply when the community comes together to support our most vulnerable populations.”
