Cher, I hope your knee is better today. If I lived nearby I would get my little tractor out, or use my truck to get your car unstuck.

Good Morning 🌞

As it is, the injured knee gave out last night and I fell again.

Hope I can hobble to the kitchen soon cuz I’m hungry.

An apple and some toast would be good.

and a big mug of cocoa. It was all of 35 degrees in Sarasota when I woke up at 10:38!

Cher, the knee sounds scary. I shattered mine years ago in a slip & fall volunteering for the Boy Scouts, of all things (their “great” insurance that was supposed to pay for everything for volunteers/leaders maxed out at $1000! ) I eventually healed but it’s still dicey. I’ve tried a few braces from eBay, from neoprene sleeves up to a rigid hinged brace with Velcro straps because I now have no cartilage left and the two halves of my leg don’t always walk in the same direction (quick turns can be scary). I think I paid like $25 for the hinged one and it keeps me nice and stable. Scary when falls become an issue. My knee is such that I can’t even think about sitting on the floor because I’d never get back up!
