Martini has an appointment with the vet on Wednesday

(which is also my grandmother's birthday. Happy Birthday in Heaven, Droga Busia!). The vet wants to see her every six months. I'm not sure if it's to see how she's doing on the blood pressure medication or to check the progress of the spot on her kidney. I'll have to remember to ask her.

Please keep a good thought for my precious Martini. She still seems to be doing very well, except she doesn't run up and down the stairs like she used to. She walks slower now. Otherwise, she's the same old Martini she's always been, thank God!

I never did run and up and down the stairs even in my youth and now, after I fell on the patio and broke my wrist in 2024, I'm very paranoid about falling again so I go up and down even slower.

Come to think of it, Martini still beats me going up and down the stairs, as slow as she is! LOL!

That is so true. I always tell my cats that nobody likes going to the doctor, but for some reason, that doesn't make them feel any better about it!
