I took Gwen to the vet to get her scheduled for spaying

She will have to wait a few more months, which is fine. They've agreed to my age estimate of just over 3 months and she's weighing in at a bit over 3 1/2 lbs. She got her de-wormer and tomorrow she starts a flea treatment. I bring her back in 3 weeks from now to start on her vaccinations.

Gwen was pretty well behaved and everyone told her she is so pretty.

I suspect she will be pretty clingy today, given the trauma of a vet visit. I'll just let her snuggle as much as she wants and try not to think about all of the other things I should be doing.

OK, she just snuggled up next to my face and started purring into my ear. Guess I'll be sitting for a while.

What other decision could you possibly make? Proper setting of priorities is very important -

Gwen is set for spaying
But she'll have to wait

As she's just over 3 months
And about three pounds weight

De-wormer today and tomorrow
She'll get a flea treatment

Three weeks from now her
Vaccination regimen begins

Gwen behaved and was told
She is so very-very pretty

She'll be clingy today so
I'll just let her snuggle

Snuggling next to my face
Now and purring in my ear

Guess I'll be sitting a while
And try not to think about all

The other things I should be doing...

scritches and love to your upset little girl!!! Hugggs for all your babies from one of their adoring aunts.

You did well, Mom. Now, deeeeep breath, relax, and enjoy her purring!
