So before Tom's computer bit the dust, (it is at the shop getting upgraded, we use our electronics )

until they fail)

I managed to actually print what I managed to "write" over the last month or so. I guess it would have been best if I forgot the writer's dictum of write every day. Trust me, this I "wrote" is unrelenting crap. It is amazingly bad. The background is ok, but the material itself, oooh boy. So, instead of trying to save that crap, just starting from the beginning.

I guess trying to write fiction in the middle of grieving is NOT a good idea. On the bright side, I did not really have to write much for the paper either. Gad, I have written crap in the past, but this... this takes the cake. It makes like zero sense, for starters.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
