Writing
Related: About this forumSoooo, any poets among us? NaPoWriMo begins tomorrow!
To tell the truth I've never been one to participate in group writing exercises...well, I did do the 3:15 Project for a couple of years many years ago (During the month of August you wake up at 3:15 am every morning, write whatever you are moved to write and go back to sleep). But I'm trying to get a project off the ground and I plan to do a poem a day during the month of April.
I don't expect miracles but sometimes a germ is born. I've been surprised before.

After all, if you don't write, you most definitely won't get that gem.

Rhyming has always been very easy for me...

(43,850 posts)I do write rhyming poetry but most of it does not. I've been playing with forms lately. I'm a sucker for repetition in rhythms and imagery. I've been playing with villanelles a good bit, and old fashioned call-and-response pieces.
Good luck!

(43,850 posts)Have I written a poem every day? Nope. But I've got a few pieces I like and one I felt good enough about to send out. Such is poetry.
Btw what rhymes with "Snake"?
